It looks as if that upload will be complete 8pm US time. I ask for nothing more than for those who downloaded it to seed for at least

one day. Im not sure how long it will still be seeded after, so if anyone else was thinking about getting get it, do it fast. my work is

complete, so i will not continue to seed. a final note on the subtitles; i think the fullscreen subtitles are on by default first, so, if at

first you see the new subtitles do not cover the burned in subtitles, then switch to the other set of subtitles which are widescreen.

Sorry to sound like a complete and utter newbie, but how do I play the file of the movie? All I got was a folder with another folder in it, then a bunch of BUP, IFO, VOB files.

Any and all help would be gratefully appreciated.

Easiest way is to burn the files onto DVD...but using the option of your dvd burning software so that it creates a usable (and watchable) DVD complete with menu, etc.

Someone may know a way to watch without burning onto DVD.

What dvd burning software is on your computer?

To burn to dvd, use freeware Imgburn. To view from hard drive, play with freeware VLC player. Simply drag & drop video_ts folder into the player, it will play it just like a regular dvd player.

Glad it worked out for you. I'm not sure about burning with a Mac, I've never had one. Maybe someone else here can suggest something?

Yes you can burn DVDs with Mac Book Pro, it is one of their standard features for that range of mac books.

You can use free software for Macs called Burn. When using it choose the option to burn a video DVD

Just to say thanks for the efforts you have put in to produce this- You could easily have charged and many (including me) would gladly have paid- much respect to you.

As for other projects how about considering these

If dual track is not possible a remastered picture with clear subs as per the excellent job you did on Showdown is more than adequate and certainly appreciated.

Here come Mau tai Wilson Tong- its in Thai- perhaps you could do a version with subs

Hells Windstaff - the world video version (english audio) pauses after each chapter would it be possible to do a dual track and subs version or at least make the subs on the EH version readable

Iron Monkey- The Vengenace dvd audio track is (annoyingly) out of synch- Is it possible to resynch the audio?

Undaunted Wu Dang dual track and subs - I know you have started this but just listing while its in my mind

Prides Deadly Fury dual track and subs ( there is a clear print that has NO subs or Eng dub I think form the same company that released Undaunted)

Shaolin Plot dual track and subs

Matching escort - is there a wide version of this

Shaolin Assassin dual track and subs

Lucky 13 dual track and subs

Ring of Death

Yeah, I hve never burned a DVD to be honest. I have always bought my films and since I was never heavily into films in the past (I also collect SW action figures, and Games) I just never had the need to burn since I always was one to buy a lot of movies I gotten, but these days I am more into asian films than I am domestic made films. I just don't have room on my HDD on my laptop cause I currently have a lot of music on it without a way to move it any where right now. I'm sure there is a large list of movies that you can simply only get in d/l or off other fans though?

Maybe my friend in taiwan could get me some movies if they ever release them on dvd there, I have no idea.

Well, if you have a friend who could burn a DVD for you proper, a copy of Daigoro's reworking of "Cottonmill" might be yours, especially if your computer has no room for downloading a copy...and you haven't burned one yourself! I have a "tree" copy I could lend you....

New copies still available at amazon.co.uk (R2 PAL):

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Showdown-At-Cotton-Mill-DVD/dp/B000AYARDG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1273860442&sr=1-1

I have the R1 version and quality is OK.

How does the Region 2 PAL compare to the BCI DVD? We know it can't be as nice as Daigoro's reworking, and I presume it's NOT anamorphic....
