Member Topgun Posted March 19, 2010 Member Share Posted March 19, 2010 Hello guys, I wonder if you have noticed this? I still can't believe that this editor missed this flaw big time. This clip contains a scene which displays some tire tracks in this Little Maiden, starring Leslie Cheung. Share your thoughts. Member Fang Shih-yu Posted March 22, 2010 Member Share Posted March 22, 2010 Saw the YouTube clip; EGAD! The guy running the camera didn't notice those treads?? Blame him first, THEN the film editor!...
Member Reel Power Stunts Posted March 22, 2010 Member Share Posted March 22, 2010 Yep, it's more likely a camera operator's error than an editor's. Back in those days there was no video assist (live link from the film camera to a large monitor for director and others to watch), so maybe it was only noticed once the film had been developed - too late and too expensive to reshoot. Also, let's not forget the economic realities of making these films. Perhaps they were against the clock/the sun, and the camera op DID notice the tracks...it's quite possible an assistant director said "Forget it, we gotta move on!" Member Topgun Posted March 28, 2010 Author Member Share Posted March 28, 2010 Hello guys, When I clicked on the same link I pasted into here couple days ago when I posted this thread, it shows this: "This video has been removed due to terms of use violation." What could happened to this guy? Or what has he done wrong to have his account closed? BTW, he really did put out lots of goodies in his account though. Thanks Topgun:cry:
