I've been looking to buy the Alexander Lo Rei movie "Super Ninja" (1984), but as there are a few different retail versions available (3), i wanted to know what you guys think is the best dvd (i.e. widescreen / uncut) or which one you'd recommend?

The versions are :

(R2) Dragon DVD - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Ninja-DVD-Alexander-Lou/dp/B000RWDXXW/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1HVMMG4IFTCA8&colid=3EMSYZCJSOSWZ

(R2) Instant Vision Ltd (under UK title Killer Invincible) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/KILLER-INVINCIBLE-DVD-Alexander-Lou/dp/B00009P9V9/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I1Y32C1GLJX6RC&colid=3EMSYZCJSOSWZ

(R1) Tai Seng - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Ninja-DVD-US-NTSC/dp/B0000560UZ/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3V4N38ULD1BEJ&colid=3EMSYZCJSOSWZ

Thanks for the help Jamal. But as im not really into trading at the moment (as i don't have many rares that people would want), i was mainly wondering which is the best 'retail' DVD version of the movie available?

Just wondering what peoples opinions are of this movie? I saw that Jamal has just released a version, and the clip actually has me interested in checking it out -

It's not a great movie but I wouldn't call it total garbage either. I've sat through worse movies. It's not exactly for every taste but if you like ninjas, fast, brutal and over the top fights, peculiar dubbing voices and dialogue, 80's fashions, and pure exploitation,THE SUPER NINJA will not disappoint! Alexander Lo Rei is in top form as well as Eugene Thomas.

I am indeed a fan of all of the above, but blue_skies damning comment of it being "absolute crap" makes me hesitate. I guess what I want to know is are the fights in the movie fairly frequent, and of the same kickboxing style shown in the clip?

I wouldn't mind getting a decent copy of this as well...

Jamal's got it here -
