Member vengeanceofhumanlanterns Posted March 17, 2010 Member Share Posted March 17, 2010 Swordsman and The Enchantress is great! Great drinking film. Magnificent Ruffians one of THE best Venoms, though I love all the Venom's films. Invincible Shaolin, Shaolin Rescuers, Masked Avengers, Kid With The Golden Arm, Brave Archer with Ku Feng. All great films. Pursuit with Yueh Hua and Fan Mei Sheng is a must have for fans of those two actors. The story's not that great, but it's not that bad, worth watchin once every couple of years. Lady Hermit is another really good film. Lo Lieh is great and Pei Pei really shines in this one.

Member vengeanceofhumanlanterns Posted April 6, 2010 Member Share Posted April 6, 2010 I love King Cat. Chiao Chuang is absolutely great in this film. Some of the choreographing is of japanese quality. The storyline is fantastical, but is done sincerely, and as a result is very entertaining and you can identify with Chiao Chuang and Chang Yi's characters. Lo Lieh is positively evil in this film. It starts of brutal with a beheading. The sets are beautiful. It's just a great escapist kung fu flick. I wrote a very detailed review on this film a few years back, but it was lost in the pages of Kung Fu Fandom. There are just so many good elements to this film.
