The Sentimental Swordsman questions.

I watched The Sentimental Swordsman (SS) last night.A great one.

A few questions.

1. Are there 3 SS movies. Perils and Return?

2. It was obvious that Ti Lung's character has TB. In the other two movies I assume he plays the same character, my question is; I don't recall emphasis in the other two movies of Ti Lung coughing. We know that in those days no one was cured from TB. Did they loose sight of this in the other two SS movies? Or did I miss it?

Maybe they just put less emphasis on it, as LXH's coughing was as much of an established fact as LXH's excessive drinking.

I don't recall "Return" clearly and haven't seen "Perils" yet, though...

If I remember correctly, in the book Li does most of his coughing at the beginning as well. Though right now I don't recall clearly if it is stated anywhere that he gets better later, or if Gu Long merely stops emphasising it.

As for the nature of Li's health problems - I think it's not explicitly stated anywhere what he suffers from, though the symptoms definitely look a lot like TB.
