Member bobo Posted February 3, 2010 Member Share Posted February 3, 2010 howdy folks---anyway its been a long time so i thought to get some dub talk going again. i'm sure we all remember the lost english dub list that comes up every so often--upon looking it over now a lot of movies can be removed from that list. i thought i would post the titles that still have not shown up or have not been proven to exist or not exist with dubs---here goes 1. PIRATE(loc)-- 2.THE CASINO(loc)-- 3.THE SEXY KILLER(loc)-- 4.GIRL WITH THE DIAMOND SLIPPER(loc)-- 5.QUEEN HUSTLER(loc)-- 6.FIST OF VENGEANCE(loc)-- by the way loc means that the dubs for these titles are available at the library of congress-----7.SWORD OF SWORDS-- 8.LADY HERMIT-- 9.FLYING DAGGER-- 10.VENGEANCE IS A GOLDEN BLADE-- 11.RAW COURAGE-- 12.MING DYNASTY-- 13.HEADS FOR SALE-- 14.KING EAGLE-- 15.TRILOGY OF SWORDSMANSHIP-- 16.BLOODY ESCAPE-- 17.DRAGON MISSILE-- 18.FULL MOON SCIMITAR-- 19.TIGRESS OF SHAOLIN-- 20.MURDER PLOT-- 21.INVINCIBLE ENFORCER-- 22.COWARD BASTARD-- 23.KID FROM KWANTUNG-- 24.BUDDHAS PALM-- 25.THE WEIRD MAN-- 26.YOUNG VAGABOND-- 27.WHAT PRICE HONESTY-- 28.BLACK LIZARD-- 29. BIG BROTHER CHENG-- 30.WANDERING SWORDSMAN-- 31. POLICE POOL OF BLOOD-- 32.TO KILL A MASTERMIND-- 33.SOUL OF THE SWORD . well thats pretty much it--but as we all know various movies are coming out this year and hopefully most will have the dubs. titles like BASTARD SWORDSMAN and RETURN OF should have dubs but its a wait and see for say LADY HERMIT and SOUL OF THE SWORD. i for one am sure that dubs exist for BLACK LIZARD and TRILOGY--its just a matter of waiting for them to show up somewhere. the original shaw dub list had anywhere from 150 --to 170 titles depending on which list you had--most are now available from private trades, flashlegs, legit north american release or if you are desperate panmedia. if anyone has anything to add to the list---feel free . also if you can prove or disprove any--feel free(video clip would be nice). i for one am hopeing to be able to remove some of these from the list by the end of the year. adios.:tongue::tongue::tongue::tongue: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Member bobo Posted November 25, 2013 Author Member Share Posted November 25, 2013 to globe--- are you sure you have the shaw brothers FIST OF VENGEANCE because there was another movie with that title in 1974 with YASUAKA KURATA which is easy to find with an english dub. the shaw brothers versions is known by it's more popular title THE DEADLY KNIVES. if you do have the shaw version you should find a way to transfer to a useable format or lend it to someone who could. just a thought. up to you. Don't misunderstand me, if anyone taped something for me, I'd be happy to pay for their time for helpimg me out regardless of what was taped. That doesn't mean I wouldn't support Celestial if they ever get the dubs or anything else out if the future. I owe you more than a few drinks/meals/hooker & blow combo's when we get together.
