Member Monk Sante Posted January 24, 2010 Member Share Posted January 24, 2010 http://www.dddhouse.com/v3/product_details.php?ProductID=10360 I guess I over looked this documentary on the Shaw Brothers, does anyone on this forum have this disc? Is it worth getting?
Member Winfred Posted January 24, 2010 Member Share Posted January 24, 2010 This is not new. Previously available as 3 separate DVDs. The documentaries have been shown on Discovery channel before.
Guest WuxiaFan
Wow! This looks like a re-release as these have been OOP for some time. Each episode is very well done and informative. Definately worth getting, especially for $16 USD!

Is it worth getting? I have this on DVD-R. I caught it on IFC and recorded it then as they were OOP so fast after original release. Definitely worth a blind buy, especially if you are hungry for anything Shaws. The features are divided into 3 parts, each exclusive to their subject. The only thing wrong... It could have been far longer because there's still so much more information, and so many more stories to be told.
