Have seen this in this Night. And Yeah, is a great Film. Good Fighting and Actors and a typical Revenge Story. I think, a little missing Classic!!!!

Thanks, falkor thats you have bringing this for Fans around the World.

The Quality is NOT the best, I think a other Copie is not existent in the next Years.

Damn! Nice one! Where is this happening Goldy??

EDIT - Looks great but seems Melle Mel is not joining them for the tour... I might try to see them in Chelmsford regardless...

Apologies for derailing the thread!

It's in Shrewsbury tomorrow night. I just checked and you're right about Melle Mel which is a shame but it should be some good old school fun anyway! I was asked if I wanted to DJ but I've gone into retirement now and my skills are a bit rusty, I'll still get in for free though as I used to be a resident there.

We had Grandmaster Flash there a couple of years ago, it'd be great to get them all back together (including Melle Mel)!

Very cool mate, I hope you enjoy it. I can't believe you turned down the chance to DJ with these legends though! They are probably a little past their peak themselves! Perhaps we will be treated to a re-union tour at some stage...

Well as only 20 people paid for this rare the possibilities of who uploaded it to the public domain can be narrowed down.

160 leechers, from 1 seeder? And it's a 4gb file? Hope they're all patient!

not really. they were there before. the 100pound payers are a laughing stock there... sad to read such comments, but what do you expect from illegal downloaders. MIG Is making good money with such fools btw (neglecting that illegal downloads only hurt).

Well, this was inevitable. But the whole point of the deal was to rescue a lost film, and let fans see it. I'd like to think at least some of the downloaders appreciate getting it, and respect that it took a handful of people good time and money to get it out there. I've no idea what forum those screengrabs are from, so I haven't been able to read the comments Spannick refers to, but you get cretins in all walks of life so it's no surprise they're full of it.

I didnt know where it was from either until I got accused via email (which needless to say pissed me off), so i found out which site it was, signed up, and had a look for myself. From that I found out who it is, but he's a nice guy and i'm sure will say he uploaded it.

When I went to this showing I was the new guy to these sort of kung fu films and showings, and was worried how I would fit in, but also looking forward to it. Anyway being accused like that for no reason (and only reason I can imagine is because I was new and unknown in the crowd) I will not be attending any more such events if they occur

That kind of behaviour stinks - shame on the person who emailed you.

I'm that person who uploaded it. I don't see what's all the fuss since it wasnt only for the contributers alone to have.

If your not aware the dvd of the movie was also sold on the showing at Bethnal Green (London). So it is out in the Domain now, I usually upload titles at that site and believe there are others here that download from there.

I mean I hear that people say that the contributers would be pissed of seeing it being uploaded on torrent sites for free. Didnt the guys think of that when it was screened or sold for £5 after the show, Isnt it suppose to be for the fan's ? Again if it was only for those 20 contributers, then why did the guys sell it on the showing, obviously to make money. I payed for my copy and can do what ever I like with it.

The guy who sent the email to niro I belive was someone from Rarekungfu.com. Anyway's they dont own the movie, I beleive they sell many titles on there website that they dont have the rights for.

Besides all that I just wanna say it was a brilliant idea on Rarekungfu.coms behalf, The way they secured the deal on Massacre Survivor. After all of that though I dont believe they can say I'm wrong in uploading it since I know for a fact they download titles themself from sites. Also I dont beleive that by me uploading it will in anyway affect there future projects.

I didn't put in any cash, so the upload doesn't affect me, but I guess those who did pay £100 would be pissed that just a couple of weeks later it's available for free. Even cynical old me didn't expect it to go wide so quickly. I'm all for spreading the word... but the original investors have a right to feel cheated.

Someone was going to eventually start duping and selling copies of theirs at some point.

You forget that at least one of the people who put money up for it (if they did) is also someone who sells rare films. And I'm guessing none of you ever spoke with Toby other than the person who put the deal together.

I didn't want to say anything earlier, but I had a concern it would go this way. You were paying for DVDR copies of a DVDR copy, not to preserve a 35mm print that was going to be junked. Falkor owns the original DVDR copy, but not even he has the 35mm print. Toby could still turn around and start selling copies himself because he has his own digital copy. That's business.

We are trying to raise £2000 to get a DVD-R that Toby has paid to transfer from his film source. If I paid out the £2000 on my own, I would never part with it, and nobody else would ever get to see it (scrap that). If I sold it for £20 a copy I would never get my money back. The best seller at Rare Kung Fu Movies (One Armed Boxer) never even came close to 100 units in about 5 years due to the specialised nature of Kung Fu films, which lacks commercial backing and public exposure. Thanks for your suggestion, but we have already made up our minds how we are going to raise the money, in what we consider a cost effective way.
