Comin' At Ya! The Only 3-D Spaghetti Western is getting revamped and sent to theatres

"Comin' At Ya!" is the 1981 movie that started the 3-D boom in the early 80's.

Now, Tony Anthony ( the film's star and producer) has updated the picture for modern audiences to enjoy!

The film has been digitally remastered and plays in both 3-D formats (Dolby Digital and Real D) for the theatres.

This marks the first time a 3-D movie shot in the "Over and Under" format has been succesfully converted to Digital 3D.

Making COMIN' AT YA! NOIR 3-D historically significant.

In a world of 3-D films that aren't really 3-D (hardly anything pops out of the screen and you ponder to yourself "why did I pay the extra money for a film I could've enjoyed the same way in its flat incarnation?") COMIN' AT YA! is a breath of fresh air.

It brings back FUN to the theatres.

Almost every other frame there is something being shot, thrown or shoved towards the audience.

It's a real fun time at the movies.

I want to see this movie looks like some decent action scenes from the previews. And I know this is an old movie as well.

Looks like the Cinematheque in Paris is going to show an original 35 mm print of COMIN' AT YA! in Stereoscopic 3-D!

It's an unauthorized showing but we'll speak to the President of the Cinematheque soon to clear things out.

I don't forsee Tony stopping the showing but instead asking them to advertise us before and after the show.

Wish they would have done this when I was in Paris 6 months ago.

Of course!

With the home market moving into the 3-D territory, soon, a GOOD version of COMIN' AT YA! is certainly on the way.

We're just concentrating on the theatrical release first.

The Rhino dvd is to be avoided at all costs!

Tony tried to explain to them that the anaglyph format wouldn't work for COMIN' AT YA! but they only saw dollar signs.

Tony has since disassociated himself with the Rhino release, calling it "an embarassment".

Jody Klein is working on releasing BLINDMAN and the Stranger trilogy on dvd.

Though GET MEAN is apart of the Stranger series, Jody doesn't own it but Tony's friend Ron Schneider does.

Jody and Ron are working on a dvd deal as we speak.
