Member Drunken Monk Posted October 14, 2009 Member Share Posted October 14, 2009 "Genocyber" is okay. Not overly gory. You may want to look up "Devil Man" and "Urotsukidoji."
Member LeRolls Posted October 14, 2009 Member Share Posted October 14, 2009 Apocalypse Zero is insanely gory and violent but it also happens to suck. I'd recommend Fist of the North Star. The new remastered DVD looks great.
Member AlbertV Posted October 14, 2009 Member Share Posted October 14, 2009 Dark King is pretty gory...it's a prequel series to Fist of the North Star that has Raoh as the main character and his rise to become the ruthless King under the Fist of the North Star. Just started to watch it on Anime Channel on Demand

Member Shaolivevil Posted October 14, 2009 Member Share Posted October 14, 2009 I thought the Riki-Oh anime was pretty good, although it has gotten a bad rap. I actually liked the anime better than the live-action movie with Fan Sui Wong. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned yet but one of the bloodiest and goriest anime I've seen is the Violence Jack trilogy, particulary Violence Jack: Evil Town. That was some heavy stuff...
