I'm making this topic in the hopes that I can discover some good Shaw movies, directed and/or choreographed by "Pops", that are unknown to me. I've seen a good 20+ Shaw Bros. movies throughout the last 9-10 years. So, my knowledge isn't that wide. I started out with The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin, and ever since then, Lau Kar Leung has been my all-time favorite martial arts movie choreographer. And out of the ones I've seen so far, my top 5 favorites are:

The 36th Chamber Of Shaolin

Heroes Of The East

Legendary Weapons Of China

8 Diagram Pole Fighter

Clan Of The White Lotus

And I've seen these:

Executioners From Shaolin

Challenge Of The Masters

Shaolin Mantis

Mad Monkey Kung Fu

Dirty Ho

My Young Auntie

Return To The 36th Chamber

Disciples Of The 36th Chamber

Heroes Two

Five Shaolin Masters

Shaolin Martial Arts

Martial Club

Are there any others I should check out that are not listed?

My top 5 would be

1. Martial Club

2. 5 Shaolin Masters

3. 8 Diagram Pole Fighter

4. 36th Chamber of Shaolin

5. Men From The Monastery

I would have to say check out MftM. Other then that, I am not that much help. Sorry.

Thanks, Iron Boat. I guess I have seen them all then. I thought maybe I might've overlooked some that were directed by someone else, but choreographed by Pops.

Well......eh..... not quite......these are also good in their own quirky ways.

Spiritual Boxer 2

The Lady Is The Boss

Drunken Monkey

and of course Martial Arts Of Shaolin - this qualifies;no?

.................and there are lots more "old skool" classic Shaw movies he choreographed with Tong Gaai.If you are interested in these then I'll let other members of this forum do the honours.
