Member gfanikf Posted September 8, 2009 Author Member Share Posted September 8, 2009 Glad your back. Yo man Mp3z do not sound anywhere near as good as a cd. Just sayin Thanks True, but while I do have a sound system at home, I do most of my listening out and about. So in the end I have to rip it anyway to 320kbps. Some CDs like MUSE's latest are ones I make an exception for.

Member kungfusamurai Posted September 12, 2009 Member Share Posted September 12, 2009 I prefer CDs because they sound better, and they have liner notes. Thunderscore, library music is great if you're into funk, soul or stuff that can or have been sampled. There are nice compilations out there for library music companies like De Wolfe, KPM, Themes International, etc... In many cases, the same session guys play instruments for the different recording studios. KFS

Administrator KUNG FU BOB Posted September 13, 2009 Administrator Share Posted September 13, 2009 I prefer CDs because they sound better, and they have liner notes. KFS Surely you mock me my friend? What can I say? I had an I-Tunes gift certificate and I went for it. When I bought the WATCHMEN soundtrack it came with the liner notes. So I thought that was common practice as I haven't bought albums, only songs through them. I was very disappointed when no info came with this. So can't one of you guys who bought the real deal please share those liner notes?
