Member ching li Posted July 4, 2009 Member Share Posted July 4, 2009 I ran across a clip from youtube and it seems pretty interesting, has anyone seen it and is it worthwhile picking up? Thanks.
Member TibetanWhiteCrane Posted July 5, 2009 Member Share Posted July 5, 2009 To be honest, it's not great! And I say that as a big Hwang Jang Lee fan! There are a couple of decent fights, but as an overall movie, it just didn't work for me!
Member ThunderScore Posted July 5, 2009 Member Share Posted July 5, 2009 I liked it ok, but I'm used to seeing Wong Cheng Li as the villain most of the time.
Member ching li Posted July 5, 2009 Author Member Share Posted July 5, 2009 Yeah, I think hwang jang lee makes better as the villian his good guy roles takes off from his fights in my opinion, ok thanks guys.
Member GOLDEN DRAGON YIN-YANG Posted January 15, 2015 Member Share Posted January 15, 2015 I saw a kung fu movie so many years ago and it stared Hwang Jan Lee as the main villain. The ending took place outdoors. A trap was set for the hero or heroes. The trap was a woman alone on a platform tied up on a cross. Our hero arrives and all hell breaks out as the end fight begins with the last baddie AKA Hwang sent to his demise. What was the title of this please? Could this be it? Member Secret Executioner Posted January 15, 2015 Member Share Posted January 15, 2015 Other elements could help. Is this set in modern days or is it a period piece ? I can tell for sure it's NOT (sorry for the spoilers): Ninja Terminator (he dies partially burried on a beach) Masters Of Tiger Crane (the ending fight involving HJL is set in a forrest) Secret Executioner (he doesn't seem to die here and the end fight is more of a gigantic brawl in some tunnels) Five Pattern Dragon Claws (HJL fights a monk before Dragon Lee and his master show up and defeat HJL who still manages to kill the master)

He looked like this in the movie: That's all I can recall. Thanks GHW. GD Y-Y
Member Secret Executioner Posted January 15, 2015 Member Share Posted January 15, 2015 He looked like this in the movie: Could be Buddhist Fist And Tiger Claws as the pic title and the "sans moustache" look he has suggest, but I don't recall seeing this one: AJnV1CDuHOg (gotta say I love the trailer though)
