Member gorhama Posted July 10, 2009 Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 Is BATTLE OF THE WITS or WARRIORS un-cut at 133 minutes?
Member kingofkungfu2002 Posted July 10, 2009 Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 My HK dvd advertises the runtime as 133 minutes, so it should be uncut.
Member gorhama Posted July 10, 2009 Member Share Posted July 10, 2009 Well of course the name change sucks....but at least it appears to be un-cut. At least it's not LEGENG OF THE BATTLE WARRIORS!!!

Member BLfan Posted January 4, 2010 Member Share Posted January 4, 2010 The first of the Dragon Dynasty titles released by Cineasia is Fist of Legend http://www.cine-asia.co.uk/Fist-Of-Legend-DVD/112/ Looks the same as my Dragon Dynasty DVD but with a better looking cover. Member OldPangYau Posted January 4, 2010 Member Share Posted January 4, 2010 That cover actually looks a LOT like the early artwork for the US version. Funny thing is the font for "Fist of Legend" looks like the font for the HKL edition of Fist of Fury.
Member David Rees Posted January 6, 2010 Member Share Posted January 6, 2010 No news of Blu ray release....i spoke to someone who is connected with the releases and they are undecided about Blu ray titles as the market is not very big and can be costly. Member Macho King Posted January 6, 2010 Member Share Posted January 6, 2010 Nice to hear that our friends in the UK will be getting FOL, SPL and others via Cine-Asia. But Is anyone here excited that DD will finally start pushing out Blu-rays beginning this March with 36th Chamber of Shaolin and The Killer? Member blue_skies Posted January 6, 2010 Member Share Posted January 6, 2010 Nice to hear that our friends in the UK will be getting FOL, SPL and others via Cine-Asia. As a Brit I'm glad the films will be getting released in the UK. Personally I've already imported most of these early Dragon Dynasty/cineasia titles but two films I will be really excited about getting a UK release (if it happens) even though I have them already will be Police story 3 Supercop and the Rebel. Supercop especially because so few people have actually seen it (outside the martial-arts movies fan-base) with absolutely no DVD release over here and as far as I know it's only been shown on UK once. Member Ninja Business Posted January 7, 2010 Member Share Posted January 7, 2010 It's funny how we're getting Dragon Tiger Gate, Flashpoint and Ip Man before SPL. Anyone know the reason? Surely it's with the same company...? The sooner SPL gets to the UK the better my life will be.

Member BLfan Posted January 9, 2010 Member Share Posted January 9, 2010 The blu ray details of Fist of Legend and Kill Zone (aka SPL) are available on Cine Asia website. http://www.cine-asia.co.uk/Fist-of-Legend-Blu-Ray-DVD/113/ http://www.cine-asia.co.uk/Kill-Zone-Blu-Ray-DVD/115/ It been interesting to hear the DTS HD audio of Fist of Legend as old hk films do not really sound that great in my opinion. No DTS for orig language only English dub. Still would be interesting to hear if they do a good job with it.
