Traditional all the way. The simple reason is I like to see what I train being put in use.

I voted contemporary but I'm thinking along the lines of Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan in the 80s so I hope I picked the right category.

traditional, shapes (love when they call out the attacks before or while they launch them) and a whole lot of training scenes.

I don't really dig on swordplay and fantasy, with a few exceptions!

Old skool kung fu is great, but when you've seen so much, it tends to get repetitive!

I voted contempo!

I can't really vote because I like it all - when it's done right! I have to say I don't care for a lot of the 90's wirefu wirlwind choreo though.

I went for sword play, the mad syles displayed in Last Hurrah for chivalry were quality, My Young Aunty had some good sword play too.

I do love the JC styles in Police Story etc though

I wouldn't put traditional Kung Fu and bashers in the same category.

You can like one but not the other and yet have to share the vote.

Absolutely, 100% agree. It also gives you a greater appreciation for how insanely skilled guys like Liu Chia-Liang, Phillip Ko, Wilson Tong, Sammo, the Yuen clan (etc etc etc) really are.

I know. I'm just saying is all.

Probably still would've voted for contemporary though.

Yeah...its just so cool to be like..I KNOW THAT MOVE!!! When you perform afterwards, you kind of go into a daze like...oh my god...Gordon Liu did this...LOL!!! I just like seeing hand to hand as well.

Yep. A lot like when he was in The Shaolin Drunken Monk!

He was very cool going against Han Yin with his Shapes in that!:D

Not to sound cliched, but ALL (depending on my mood). If I HAD to pick one I would lean toward traditional.

I love all but I will take traditional anyday. shapes bashers, calling out the technique in the middle or begining of the movement
