Member odioustrident Posted May 3, 2009 Member Share Posted May 3, 2009 I have not seen Snakefist of a Buddhist Monk, but Sandman/ Marvelous Kung Fu has excellent action from my view. It is mostly comedic group fights until the end, but the finale is pretty sweet; the fights before that are done with a really consistent, fast beat you don't see often from those movies. The finale, if I remember correctly, has some early precursor to the inside jumping crescent kick (?) that can be seen in Righting Wrongs (Yuen Biao) as well some recent Thai films. The shapes are also excellent. This could be a terrible movie but I remember being pretty impressed by the fight scenes. Nothing better than seeing them for yourself and getting your own opinion.
