very good comparison here and at the top you'll see running time info. Prefer the longer edit myself. In particular the ending is much more effective.

It may have taken 13 years, but now in 2022 finally you can thanks to the recent Hong Kong Blu-ray and DVD release under its original title 'The Era of Vampires'. I also held off on ever watching this one until it was possible to do so in its original version, and gave it the full review treatment over at COF -

This is one that I'm always debating myself whether or not I should buy. From the POV of your review, it looks worth a watch. The IMDB reviews were a lot more mixed.

I just watched it and I second that statement, beautiful vampire movie with great practical effects, sound effects and decent fights.
