Member Bravery Posted August 11, 2009 Member Share Posted August 11, 2009 I'm susprised he hasn't starred in more, I've always been amazed by his agility but he always seemed to co-star, or at least the films I've been able to see. any specific recommendations wihtout Jackie? As others have said, Dreadnaught is really good. Also check out Zu Warriors (my favorite), On the Run, The Iceman Cometh (Great story, great action), A Kid From Tibet, Deadful Melody is a good one. Check out his TV shows also, some of the best work of his career were TV shows. There are a lot of other gems as well, these are just my favorite non-Jackie/Sammo films. Although Sammo is in Zu Warriors, and Jackie has a small cameo in Kid from Tibet. On my list, I would say start with Iceman Cometh
Member Morgoth Bauglir Posted August 11, 2009 Member Share Posted August 11, 2009 Check out Sword Stained with Royal Blood. It's sort of similar to Deadful Melody, but 10 times better.
Member mantis FIST Posted August 12, 2009 Member Share Posted August 12, 2009 I would agree that this is a very good KF flick! I think I need to watch it as I've not seen it in years.

Member FightingFool Posted July 16, 2021 Member Share Posted July 16, 2021 Didn`t like movie that much but worth seeing for Yuen Biao. Good performance in acting and action. Some swift kicks he displays.
Member Cognoscente Posted July 18, 2021 Member Share Posted July 18, 2021 I would have liked to have seem him do a movie with Tan Tao-Liang. The guy on the left in the b&w still looks like Phillip Ko.
