Member Alex Posted March 26, 2009 Member Share Posted March 26, 2009 was there ever a remastered IVL reg 3 release of this? i could've sworn i saw one but it's not coming up on hkflix. the version i have now is horrible, so if this new one is at least widescreen it would already be an improvement

Member Jesse Smooth Posted March 26, 2009 Author Member Share Posted March 26, 2009 Mark, is this thread here to stay in the SB forum? Hey, well supposedly this has footage of Lo Lieh's funeral! We can always depend on Georgie Porgie to deliver the goods.
Member Iron Boat Posted March 26, 2009 Member Share Posted March 26, 2009 Video Asia, yeah I have bought some duds from them, only one film actually plays right. The others are cut, edited, and the dvd skips, its crazy.

Yeah, I imagine they would have released Shatter and 7 Golden Vampires if they had acquired them. KFS
Member Chinatown Kid Posted March 28, 2009 Member Share Posted March 28, 2009 I had this movie before under the title The Stranger and the Gunfighter but can't remember who released it. This is a good movie with Van Clief and Lo Lieh, Video Asia will probably release a boot of that version and ruin chances of a quality release of this film. Member Chinatown Kid Posted March 28, 2009 Member Share Posted March 28, 2009 Yo Knetan, is the French disc pic remastered or a least great quality? I'd rather support the legit French disc if it's the best rather than buy Tan's boot.
Member Knetan Posted March 28, 2009 Member Share Posted March 28, 2009 hey, no celestial style remaster, pretty flat colours, a little damage but nothing, NOTHING that will detract from your viewing experience. http://www.amazon.fr/Brute-colt-karat%C3%A9-Lee-Cleef/dp/B0009FVSHA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1238281988&sr=8-
