Guest Markgway
These 2 movies may be different. There is no name of Lee Tso Nan in credit of a common director. Seems that the HKMDB may have made a mistake with regards to BIG BOSS. Yes - Li Tso-Nan is the director of SHANGHAI MASSACRE aka BIG BOSS BIG but according to the HKFA the directors of BIG BOSS are Richard Cheung Kuen (Hong Kong) and Chin Chang-Liang (Taiwanese). Neither of those names match the KOFA's director Kim Jong-Seong therefore this is probably a fake co-production purchased from HK/Taiwan. EDIT: Hmm... the Taiwanese DB lists Li Tso-Nan as director after all. I give up. At any rate none fo them match what's on offer at the KOFA. lol A Director of Hong Kong side (or Taiwan) is "Lee Ching" but His name isn't found HKMDB. This man is a actor..... http://hkmdb.com/db/people/view.mhtml?id=619&display_set=eng Right. That's clearly not the correct person. The KOFA credited name is presumably bogus. An unusually high amount of Korean films there, but maybe he just spoke the language or something? Guest Markgway
Re. Bloody Treasury Fight: There's one name in the credits I haven't been able to match up: Hung Chung-Kuo. No reference on the HKMDB and the HKFA lists he/she only for this film. I figure there's a chance this person might be Korean then...? A translation of the Chinese name would be Hong Jong-Kuk. But the KOFA lists only one actor under this name: http://www.kmdb.or.kr/actor/mm_basic.asp?person_id=00025341
