Administrator KUNG FU BOB Posted January 31, 2009 Administrator Share Posted January 31, 2009 Hi, Ive seen a few episodes, but they weren't subbed, and they were rental tapes with a ton of wear and tear on them. So it was a little hard to watch with the constantly "tracking" going on, but the action scenes were decent. I recently looked around for this series (only a half-hearted attempt), but didn't have any luck.
Member kami Posted March 5, 2009 Member Share Posted March 5, 2009 Tai Seng has released the series that consists of 4 or 5 different stories directed by different directors as 2dvd-sets, unfortunately without engl.subtitles. I watched THE EIGHT ASSASSINS, which was helmed by Daniel Lee mostly in the same style as his WHAT PRICE SURVIVAL. However, the dialogue scenes are quite boring (without subtitles) and equally lensed.
Member odioustrident Posted March 5, 2009 Member Share Posted March 5, 2009 The action in Eight Assassins had some experimental editing; I remember it looked a little weird, but not neccessarily unprofessional. My disc ended before he could fight the final villain, who may have had some skills comparable to Zhao.
