Two Con Men/Carry On Con Men

Bit of an odd one this...

There are several actors' names billed in the credits for TWO CON MEN who don't appear in the film.

Terry Liu, Ha Ping, Yuki Yung, Lee Wai-Hung, Chang Li-Chu.

(Actually I don't know who the last two people are so they may have been in it - if you know who they play LMK)

All of the stills used for the cover art (back and front) are from scenes that don't appear in the picture. Terry Liu and Ha Ping are prominantly shown. Were their scenes cut before release?

My guess is that - yes - their scenes were cut - likely a whole subplot by the looks of it - and inserted into the sequel CARRY ON CON MEN released only several months later.

Stills from that film match the ones shown on the Two Con Men sleeve.

This leads me to either one of two conclusions:

1. The credits for Two Con Men were botched and credited actors who were never part of the film - and should've only been credited for the sequel (I suspect the two films were made back-to-back).

2. The original cut of Two Con Men was much longer and Shaws decided to trim it and use excess footage in a sequel - but they forgot to alter the credits accordingly. This one makes more sense to me.

Anyone have any thoughts...?
