It cost me blood sweat and tears to compile an unsorted list some time ago, and I wanted to change it as soon as I had clicked "Submit Reply". While I would exchange some titles now, I don't want to go thru that again :D  AVENGING EAGLE, SHAOLIN TEMPLE and 36th CHAMBER are on my list, too.

How could you possibly whittle it down to ten? But will try.

1) The 36th Chamber of Shaolin

2) Heroes of the East

3) Mad Monkey Kung Fu

4) Avenging Eagle

5) 3 Evil Masters

6) Blood Brothers

7) Soul of the Sword

8) Chinatown Kid

9) Crippled Avengers

10) Shaolin Mantis

A nightmare trying to whittle this to ten with masses of Shaws that could replace 3-10 in my opinion.

My list will change depending on my mood. My current to 10:

8 Diagram Pole Fighter

Five Element Ninjas

5 Fingers of Death

Clan of the White Lotus

Legendary Weapons of Kung Fu

36th Chamber of Shoaling

Shaolin Challenges Ninja

Mortal Combat

5 Deadly Venoms

Shaolin Intruders

This is a tough list to make. Top 25 is more like it for me 😃

I can see I contributed to this thread over the years, and finding it very hard to wittle down a proper list. Well, I have since forced myself to learn how to make ranked lists based on a number of factors, so here's my relatively recent Shaw Bros. Can’t imagine someone having a set in stone top 10 for this. Very difficult to make a top 10 for just SB, let alone the entire Martial Arts genre, but here’s mine.

1. 8 Diagram Pole Fighter

2. Crippled Avengers

3. Heroes of the East

4. Fist of the White Lotus

5. Mad Monkey Kung Fu

6. King Boxer

7. Shaolin Mantis

8. Martial Club

9. Five Element Ninjas

10. My Young Auntie

I've seen and enjoyed most of these (some I think are masterful) and at least one is one of the worst SB films I've seen :D Never heard of Men from the Gutter, gonna seek it out. killer Snakes seem right up my alley so that one I will watch very soon.

1. Heroes of the East

2. Invincible Shaolin

3. Martial Arts of Shaolin (the Jet Li movie)

4. Dirty Ho

5. 8 Diagram Pole Fighter

6. Five Deadly Venoms

7. Deadly Breaking Sword

8. Avenging Eagle

9. Shaolin Mantis

10. White Lotus Clan

...or something. Excluding a bunch of 60s and early 70s bashers and wuxia flicks that I do like because when push comes to shove, that late 70s/early 80s choreography is admittedly a major factor.
