in fact, there is nothing i would call watchable.

the JP DVD is cut to shreds, the German DVD is some 2,5 mins longer, but censored too. none are in the original 2.35 Ratio. there is a bootleg - uncut - Fullscreen English Dub floating around, but it has an annoying timecode in the Picture...

there's not really a "good" version. I had the timecoded version and if you wanted uncut, that's the one. There's supposedly one taped off of TV that's nearly uncut and better than the timecoded version, but I've never seen it.

There's a Japanese version available on DVD, it's a letterbox print which has excellent picture quality. This version also has the original english dub.8)

PAL speed is quicker so 90m in PAL would be 94 in NTSC (approx).

Hello!

I Search the Classic DRAGON SQUAD aka. FOUR REAL FRIENDS

Widescreen & Uncut. The German Version is Widescreen, but have many Violent Cuts.

Unfortunately is the Japanese Version a Master from the German Version, also Cut.

Have anybody the French Version. This Video is very Rare, WIDESCREEN & UNCUT.

Or gives also a other Version ?

Yeah, this one is a real classic. The original title is Four Real Friends, though.

Note that most versions are cut by around 10 minutes! Uncut running time is about 91 minutes.

The movie had a German title that was it, only thing in German.

English language, wide screen, superior quality print.

My DVD of Four Real Friends was from:

The Martial Arts Essentials (volume 7) Best of the Best Series Two.

The other movies are:

Mission Kiss and Kill. Great print.

Hit Man in the Hand of Buddha. (Korean language) supposedly the directors cut with more footage. I find this annoying (language). I don't think it was filmed in Korean was it? And a poor print to boot.

I'm reviving this old thread instead of creating a new one. I actually have the Japanese DVD which I haven't watched yet. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what was cut? Is it fighting or story?

The only dvd copy I ever found was the English dub from Red Sun, but I don't know if it was cut or not.

ADC has a custom Version of it now with uncut Scenes spliced into the German DVD Print. best bet in town i guess.
