Another Showbox Home Entertainment release, Nine Venoms, should be on its merry way to my house now. I know from the Vengeance Video blog that they intended to release Young Hero, Xavier Attack, Crippled Kung Fu Boxer, 10 Magnificent Killers, Bruce Against Iron Hand and Black Belt. Member Rock_Bottom Posted August 22, 2010 Member Share Posted August 22, 2010 I have taken the list(s) posted by prinnysquad and with some searching and cross-referencing I have a completely matching list with the exception of 7 movies from my research: 10 Magnificent KillersBlack BeltBruce Against Iron HandCrippled Kung Fu Boxer Death Duel Of Kung Fu Drunken Master Slippery SnakeYoung Hero Of course, I cannot find anything concrete on any of these, though I have attached a spreadsheet that has these on the bottom of the list with a link to where I found the title (Vengeance Video Blog or Amazon.CO.UK)...my guess is that at least Drunken Master, Slippery Snake ended up as a Rarescope DVD release...others maybe were not released or may be the missing numbers in prinnysquad's list (DC0044 ?? & DC0053 ??). I made a second tab in the spreadsheet with Rarescope releases...I have verified all of them based on what I own and matched what I could to prinnysquad's list as well...one issue being US releases were on BCI and their release numbers do not match up to the UK versions. Please feel free to take it from here...I am only tracking as I would like to complete my Vengeance Video and Rarescope DVD collections...someday...ha ha ha. Also, in reference to JAMAL's post about selling Vengeance Video DVD's...I purchased a lot of Vengeance Video (and other) titles from him and let me just say if you have never delt with JAMAL but wanted to...I would vouch for him 10 times over and he is one of the nicest people to deal with...period! P.S. I know there are at least a few people in touch with Toby R. here...maybe someone can get a definitive list of Vengeance Video and Rarescope DVD releases from him?Vengeance_Video_Titles.zip

Member ironfistedmonk Posted February 1, 2013 Member Share Posted February 1, 2013 I remember writing that epic post, took me bloody ages! I've not seen a single one of those films since as I had a major burn out and I've probably only watched about 20 kung fu films since then. I really wish I could get the buzz back

I really wish I could get the buzz back I just wanted to thank you for that epic post. I found a ton of great films by reading through it, and I realize it must have taken quite a bit of time to research and write it. I too hope you get the "buzz"/desire back! Member DragonClaws Posted December 22, 2019 Member Share Posted December 22, 2019 On 12/30/2008 at 4:50 PM, ironfistedmonk said: Ok here’s the Vengeance titles I own with a bit of info on them, I know nothing about aspect ratios and stuff so if it’s not full screen then I’ve listed it as wide. I’ve seen some dog rough prints of films too so if I say a print looks OK it might look shite to some of you used to the Celestial remasters. The opinions in the following post are not representative of everybody so take that into consideration XD This is a big post so get ready…………… Bumping/Dusting off this old thread. Great work @ironfistedmonk, very comprehensive and informative post. Picked up many of the early Vengenace DVD Releases, but stopped collecting for awhile and missed their later releases. It's a real shame that the PQ wasn't so poor for these releases, even if they did give us a few WideScreen releases. Like with the MillCreek budget releases in the U.S, it was case of quantity over quality. That said, it exposed me to Korean Martial Arts cinema via the Dragon Lee/Hwang Jang Lee films. None of which broke my wallet when I purhased them brand new. I've notced how some of their rarer releases now command much higher prices online.
