Member falkor Posted November 24, 2008 Member Share Posted November 24, 2008 Surely this can't be the Cathay film Mission To Die? :l It must be something else with the same characters...
Guest Markgway
The credits seem to be a closer match to this Taiwanese film: http://ipac.hkfa.lcsd.gov.hk/ipac20/ipac.jsp?session=1227584MR62Q0.87&menu=search&aspect=advanced&npp=10&ipp=20&profile=hkfa&ri=1&source=192.168.110.61@%21horizon&index=.TW&term=%E5%8A%8D%E4%B8%AD%E4%B9%8B%E7%8E%8B&aspect=advanced#focus

Member falkor Posted November 26, 2008 Author Member Share Posted November 26, 2008 Apparently, the film inside the box is this one: http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=11004&display_set=eng I just checked my copy, but there is no scene on water!? I'm starting to wonder if the miracles of Jesus were faked. Have you watched Ace of Swordsman?
Guest Markgway
The VHS cover art title and credits don't match SWORN CHIVALRIES so I guess someone has buggered up if that's what's on the tape itself. I haven't seen ACE OF SWORDSMAN; it was just the only film I could find that matched the director and all actor names listed on the box. It's probable that the artwork does come from that film. Hence the screenshots not appearing in the different film you saw. I see the HKMDB list the box title as an AKA for MISSION TO DIE but that might be a mistake since the credits don't quite match (similar though...)
