What was the " kung fu treasure hunt sub-genre"???

What other films made up this genre? I would guess Fists and Guts? Sounds like a fun sub-genre.

Blooded Treasury Fight (CAV/World Video)-An enjoyable film starring David Chiang and Tan Tao Liang, this was from the short-lived kung fu treasure hunt sub-genre. The story is good and the action is better than average, especially the ending which has a bit of gore. As always, you have to deal with the pauses on CAV DVDs.

Seems like they were looking for some kind of treasure or loot in The Dragon,the Lizard and the Boxer in the finale but it's been a while since I saw it.

Even though it was set in modern times, would Armor of God(which was the treasure) qualify?

You can include modern fighters too such as Crystal Hunt with Donnie Yen, Magic Crystal with Cynthia Rothrock and Magic Amythyst with Alex Fong. There others too, I like them personally.
