I think that is Eddy Ko - here's a pic from Knight Errant (1973 as well)

He has that same distinct mole on the right side of his nose. It seems to have been removed later in his career...

I was convinced it WAS Eddy Ko. But his name wasn't in the credits and the character is in the film quite a lot. The HKMDB reckoned it was James Yi (which I wasn't convinced of). Yi's name is billed prominantly as a guest star yet I couldn't spot him.

EDIT: YES. It IS Eddy Ko. I rechecked the pictures and one of them mentions Eddy by his alternate name (in Chinese) Lin Sheng. Bingo! :)

I think the mother might be this lady: Lai Cheuk-Cheuk

Her name is mentioned on one of Falkor's posters but NOT on the film. Again it's a notable part.

The articles mention Lydia Shum but she's definately not in it.

Yes. I should listen to my instincts. Though I can't for the life of me figure out why Eddy Ko and Lai Cheuk-Cheuk aren't credited for major supporting roles... yet Lau Ka-Wing, Tino Wong, etc., get credited for being glorified stuntmen. Most odd. But it happens. There's a Shaw film in which Kao Ming plays the main villain but gets no credit. Can't remember which one off hand. Appreciating everyone's help.
