A beloved figure of Chinese popular culture is about to recieve a tribute that will make the mausoleum of Mao Zedong look downright modest: Bruce Lee will be the subject of a 50-episode biography, to be broadcast on state-run Chinese television. The Associated Press reported. Beginning Sunday night on China Central Television. "The Legend of Bruce Lee" will recall the life of that American-born martial artist and film star, who died in 1973 at the age of 32, in 50 one-hour episodes. (That's roughly 1.56 hours of biography for every year of Lee's life.) The film, which stars Danny Chan as Lee ((((WHO'S HE MY, REMARKS GD Y-Y))) was filmed in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand and the United States and Italy at a coat of $7.3 million, according to the AP.
