Guest pressureworld
Aside from Warriors Two what are some good films to check out from Casanova Wong
Guest thundered mantis
Ca Sa Fa must haves: -Warriors Two -The Master Strikes -Master Killers aka Master Avengers -Fearless Young Boxer films where he is briefly but he burns the screen: -Shaolin Plot -Duel of the 7 Tigers -Duel to the Death -Tower of Death (FOX) there are also a couple of modern era films where he seems to shine, but I still haven´t seen those, so I´ll let it here
Guest rederror
Have to agree with Thundered Mantis. Warriors Two is his finest work in my opinion as a movie on a whole. Shaolin Plot has to be seen for Casanova's performance, its brief but probably the best display of kicking ive ever seen. Make sure you stay away from some of his bad ones, and there are a few. How about his worst performance anyone?
Guest Chinatown Kid
Wong's worst performance? Well his action performance in The Master Strikes was awesome but that looney character he played had to be one of the most annoying ever, talking about stupid! :lol
Guest morgoth
Yeah, Cassonova wasn't gonna get any big acting jobs after that performance, but we love him. Check out this clip Chinatown Kid, his acting is ever worse! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dpp04Pyc7Yg
Guest Chinatown Kid
:eek You ain't kiddin Morgoth! :lol
Guest morgoth
That movie and Rivals of the Silver Fox are his worst IMO, but I know there are probably some others i haven't seen. But why bring up the worst? I only care about his best:D
Guest dragon herb
That movie (Strike of Thunderkick Tiger) isn't among his worst IMO, I think it's quite entertaining and it has good fights. Casanovas role is intended to be wacky and the english dub makes it even more crazy :rollin
Guest morgoth
I didn't like the final fight very much, but it is always a joy to see Cassanova move around. He is one of a kind.
Guest Chinatown Kid
Yeah there was some great kicking in Thunderkick Tiger as to be expected in a Korean flick starring Wong, but they usually have very bad acting and look incredibly cheap. And those garish 70's fashions are always a sight to behold! :lol

Guest rdenn
falkor whats up with that cover, the bloke on the left with the claws is from magnifcent wonderman.
Guest deathdunt
I just watched Wonderman From Shaolin, which was rather enjoyable. Some good fighting and what not. It makes me wonder what the hell went wrong with his career. I also saw Lone Shaolin Avenger, which I know was Korean but I dont think had anything to do with Godfrey Ho, and it was also AWFUL. What else did Ca Sa Fa do that was recommendable in korea?
Guest will91XingYu
Theres a rare one called Iron Men or something before Warriors Two and he really gets to show off his kicks, i found with Korean movies theyre really wierd in some places and they can be really annoying! He did one with Elton Chong called Mighty Four. Another Korean guy to look out for is Mike Wong who also starred with Lo Rei in Ninja Hunter and Ninja vs. Shaolin Guards. Guest deathdunt
Hmm, I;lll have to check this Mike Wong out....I like Philip Cheung alot too. So wait....did these movies happen before or after Casanova's HK flicks or what??
Guest will91XingYu
I think Mighty Four is 1980, that other one was 1977 before he did Shaolin Plot. Philip Cheung is great, watch him fight Lo Rei at the end of Super Ninja!
Guest ironfistedmonk
Mike Wong is brilliant but he only appeared in Korean Kung Fu movies which are pretty dire for the most part. Invincible Obsessed Fighter and Shaolin Incredible Ten are 2 of his better films, he plays a drunken beggar master with an expanding belly style in Snake Strikes Back which is pretty good too. Mighty Four and Lone Shaolin Avenger are the same movie and you are right, its bloody awful
Guest will91XingYu
They used that stupid style in Incredible Shaolin Thunderkick with Benny Tsiu which was awful! Oh yeh i saw Mike Wong starred in a lot of movies with Han Ying and Elton Chong, has anyone seen any of these?
Guest deathdunt
Benny Tsui is awful. He's a decent fighter but god the humor shit he lays on sooooo thick makes me sick. I couldnt even bear to watch 7star grand mantis.
Guest will91XingYu
Yhe hes got some good kicks but his face and comedy annoied me so much! The young bad guy from Thunderkick was pretty good as well!
Guest Yakuza954
My favorite Godfrey Ho/Casanova Wong movie is Ninja Holocaust aka Rocky's Love Affairs. Rocky's Love Affairs may be the worst title for a kung fu movie ever, but it's kinda fitting as Chan Wei Man (Rocky) seems to spend most of the movie having sex. Even Casanova gets in on the fun. Despite it being half porn/half kung fu though, it has some of Casanova's best kicking and the final fight between him and Chan Wei Man is alone worth getting the movie for. That and to see a scene in the movie with a fat Casanova Wong fighting ninjas that was obviously filmed years after the other movie/s used to create Ninja Holocaust were. This IS Godfrey Ho we're talking about after all..
Guest theportlykicker
Enter the Invincible Hero has a very good end fight between Cas and Dragon Lee.
Guest Morgoth
I love how Lee Hoi San fights Dragon Lee in the opening credits of Enter the Invincible Hero, but in the movie itself they use some Lee Hoi San clone. Classic Godfrey Ho:D
Guest kungfood
falkor whats up with that cover, the bloke on the left with the claws is from magnifcent wonderman. I believe that is the poster for The Wonderman of Shaolin (possibly an altertnate title for Magnificent Wonderman). I've never seen the Master Killers, I think that one starred Wong with Phillip Ko and Blackie Ko(?) aka, Ko Shou-Liang. My favorite of his performances are in Warriors Two and the end fight in The Master Strikes, though IMO Ren Shi-Guan as the head villain kind of steals the show in that one. I also saw Wong in an odd film, I thought it was titled Hong Kong, Hong Kong (something like that). He had a small part with a couple of fights, including one where he throws his famous flying triple kick, and he also fights Chiang Tao. He also played a villain in a decent movie that was oddly retitled Method Man I think by the Wu Tang series. It was filmed in Taiwan, and has a good end fight in a barn that the heroes rigged with traps to deal with Wong because his character's so dangerous.
