Not only did this last one drive me up a wall when I taped it off T.V. way back in '84 or '85, but it wasn't until years later that I realized it wasn't a direct translation. Why the dubbers did it like that is beyond me...

I love that movie & I love that dub :biggrin:

It is so out of control, but Chin Siu Ho has a great exageratedness to his voices sound & the prince (Ngaai Fei) has the snotty uppercrust sound that was so cool I never forgot that actor, who I wound up liking alot as a Shaw supporting actor. Chin Siu Ho Iis also a favorite of mine - somewhere in the 15-25 range of favorite shaw actors.

Not quite my point lol it was more to do with the food being diffident styles of Martial Arts. & then "I like it all as long as it's edible" maybe mean I'll use any style as long as it's useful kind of like the Bruce Lee JKD philosophy.
