No, I'm not here to ask about those Kung Fu Gorillas..........

Was just wondering if the dubbed version was at all cut?

I ask because there seemed to be a couple of plot holes:

1. Where does Lung Chun Erh come from and why is she at Shaolin?

2. Why is Tan Tao Liang's character referred to as though we already know who he is when he doesn't appear until past the hour mark?

3. How does Chia Ling escape from that dungeon?

I think the Tai Seng may well be PAL speed, considering it's from the Ocean Shores range, which are PAL-NTSC on the ones I've seen

Ok Tai Seng is proper NTSC (it's a bit random - some of their Ocean Shores are proper NTSC, some not)

The Hollywood East is missing the intro text explaining why the Emperor wanted the family killled (and his motive is just as bat shit crazy as everything else in this film). It's also cut randomly, most likely to remove the Ocean Shores video logos.

Really fun film!

Forgot about this one about to pop it in the player now .. I have a shitty eastwestdvd version. Double feature w/ Sonny Chiba's Champion of Death aka Karate Bull Fighter.

Does Tan Tao-Liang's character die? I knew that he got in some really good hits against the villain in his last fight, but the version I saw sort of left the fight inconclusive.
