How that was snubbed at the award shows is beyond me...! Super tight choreography, excellent story, based on real life events I believe, and stellar acting of shakespearian heights.... a masterpiece!

Yep, really top notch in all areas, and the fact that it has the best most explosive ending ever is just icing on the cake. :D

Good choices croakerbc.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this movie yet- fh0flohL4vk

Fast forward to the 3 minute mark. That's when the action really heats up.

The American flag ninja head band is a stroke a genius.

Yeah good call spotting that. In American ninja martial arts you are awarded that headband when you have mastered the head spinning technique. I think that's that the same guy from Born To Defense and Bloodsport. He must be a real life ninja otherwise he wouldn't have looked so good in Clash of the Ninja.

I think we have the tendency to associate good fighting with good movies, but there is also many average Kung Fu movies with above average fight scenes. If only I had noted down over the years all of them that do contain good choreography. I remember the Roaming Monk (AKA Wandering Monk) had good fights, but there is nothing of this film uploaded to youtube.

Nothing's gonna top Martial Club finale for unarmed or Seven Grand Masters for weapons (you know the scene), for my taste. A lot (and I mean a lot) comes close, but couldn't call anything to please me much more than those two.

Corey Yuen gives an awesome weapons display in 7 Grandmasters.

Your kung fu knowledge rating gets dropped 2 points for that Pyscho Per.
