A few months ago in the Hollywood area, there was an early screening of Stephen Chow's latest HK movie. Stephen and that young girl who played Stephen's son in the movie both appeared after the screening for a Q&A.

I was able to ask Stephen if there's going to be a "Shaolin Soccer 2". I think that while Stephen spoke in Mandarin, he said that he'd "...love to do a 'Shaolin Soccer 2', but there are some copyright problems."

Do you know if there are some copyright problems just because there is a HK or Taiwanese TV show that has the words "Shaolin" and "Soccer" in the title?

i think it was because it was a co-pro between Stephen's company and Universe (HK), there were some issues after the film was released....
