Member Mark Pollard Posted August 2, 2008 Member Share Posted August 2, 2008 I know there must be a few old school anime fans here. I saw this news over at Twitch and had to comment here. I grew up watching this series religiously and it remains one of my favorite memories, along with building Yamato models out of Legos with my best friend. Time hasn't been kind to the original series so any update from the creator is welcome.

Saw it back in the early 80s and about a year ago, I re-watched the entire first series on DVD. I have the 2nd series, The Comet Empire, but have yet to watch it.
