Directed by Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2), Cena plays Detective Danny Baxter, a cop in New Orleans who learns an evil crime lord has kidnapped his girlfriend. Searching the streets of New Orleans, he intends to take the crime lord down and rescue his girlfriend. The film co-stars Ashley Scott (Birds of Prey, Walking Tall), Brian J. White (D.O.A.: Dead or Alive), Aiden Gillen (Shanghai Knights), and Steve Harris (Diary of a Mad Black Woman) 12 Rounds is set for release on March 13, 2009 from Fox Atomic Pictures and WWE Films.
