Member AlbertV Posted July 16, 2008 Member Share Posted July 16, 2008 Based on the cult manga of the same name published in Super Jump, this live action movie version was one of strangest action films I have ever watched. It starred Issey Ogata (who later starred in the critically acclaimed Tony Takitani) as the titular character, a somewhat mild-mannered businessman who seems to be a workaholic but there is more to him than many think. Yamazaki is actually a bionic cyborg who must take on an evil scientist hellbent on taking over the world. I had picked this up at a Book-Off but sold it back after seeing it a few times because money was so tight. Stinks..wish I still had it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
