Member AlbertV Posted June 17, 2008 Member Share Posted June 17, 2008 Dark Horizons just announced this...it is info on the sequel to District B13: A sequel to the 2004 French parkour action film "District B13" is set to begin production in July reports Slashfilm. No plot details for "District B14" are out but an open casting call has been issued for parkour experts. The story has been penned by Luc Besson and the film will be directed by Patrick Alessandrin. The first film is best known for it's intense chase sequences which use parkour (very similar to, but not the same as 'free running'). The French-founded discipline was memorably used in the opening chase sequence of 2006's James Bond franchise re-starter "Casino Royale" and has been seen in such films as "Breaking and Entering," "Live Free or Die Hard," "The Incredible Hulk" and the "Rush Hour" series. Anyone know if Cyril Raffaelli and David Belle will be back to reprise their roles? Also wonder if the cute former porn star who played Lola will be back? Loved her spunky character.... I know, I know, don't expect too much with these kind of movies but c'mon! They could have remote detonated the bomb anytime!! That dude Cyril needs to be utilized better in movies. Member Bruce Posted August 7, 2008 Member Share Posted August 7, 2008 I thought the first movie was a pretty good action film, but both of the leads are more mind-blowing in there demo clips on youtube, if you're an action movie fan (& I don't mean CGI cartoon crap) you've got to check out these dudes' demos. Un-freaking real, in a league of their own. I'd love to see one or both of them in a movie with Tony Jaa, but I think whatever movies they're going to make, David & Cyril better make them soon, how much longer can their bodies (knees, ankles, & backs, specifically) take the kind of punishment they put them through?
