The English subtitle track is designed pretty weird. The text is laid out like those SDH subtitles from Universal's releases.

The guy puts his foot through the person back. Holly S&*T!

What movie is this from and who is the star delivering such a kick.

I guess he also had a Thunderbolt foot.

Or that guy was mistakenly using the "Wet Tissue" chest defense.

Unlike his brother, Chuan was a terrible screen fighter, and it makes it worse that he seems to channel Bruce Lee with a certain cockiness that he can't back up. Shih Szu is good in it, and it has a certain gore campishness, but it is pretty bad. Also, it has the Korean fellow from Five Fingers of Death as a good guy. He is one of the only people that seems to know any empty hand fighting in the flick. I wouldn't pay a lot to see this flick, but if you can see it for free, it's OK. Even Shanghai Lil is better.

When I first saw this film-I rewound this scene at least 3-4 times!

I was on the floor!

It's interesting to note, the beginning of this feels a lot like Kingboxer, however, it goes south pretty fast. James Nam is a real bastard in this, playing the Japanese baddie. May have worked better with Lo Lieh or Chen Kuai Tai in the lead role.

Tung Li, star of TheBlack Tavern, a much, much better fkick.

I was wondering too, thank you :)

They were in 'The Imperial Swordsman' together, right?

Yue Hui was pretty smoking in that one - Shu Pei Pei also.

The Heads For Sale IVL says Tung Li is Korean.

I guess that means Chuen Yuen is also. (duh!)

My understanding is that they were Eurasian, and that Tung Li was a pro fighter for a time. He definitely looked like he was a fighter, more than a lot of the Shaws guys. Can't say the same for his brother.
