Member AlbertV Posted June 17, 2008 Member Share Posted June 17, 2008 I just came across a Youtube clip from this 1994 KOrean film that starred Hwang Jang-Lee. I almost couldn't recognize him because this was the cleanest cut I have ever seen from HJL. Sport hair and a clean shave...something you barely if ever you see from Hwang. 0C2VwoA7RU4 Thanks to YT user seoulpower1965
Member Morgoth Bauglir Posted June 17, 2008 Member Share Posted June 17, 2008 Yeah I saw that. He looks really good. The other guy looks quite good too, like maybe he was taught by Hwang. And that user has another rare clip of Hwang I haven't seen before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPtGCBWGqfA&feature=related
Member AlbertV Posted June 17, 2008 Author Member Share Posted June 17, 2008 I saw that too...wow...talk about rare gems from the Hwang-ster himself. I wonder if his son Jason would ever consider doing movies or if he had trained from his dad.

Member Morgoth Bauglir Posted June 18, 2008 Member Share Posted June 18, 2008 I would take a month off work to watch them all if that's true.
Member Jesse Smooth Posted June 25, 2008 Member Share Posted June 25, 2008 Only if IFD or Filmark (if they're still around) would release these in English and put some totally unrelated footage involving geriatric ninjas.
