What's your favorite story in the anthology? I haven't watched it probably 10 years. I enjoyed the Nishimura and Nacho ones the best.

Only football related film I have is Shaolin Soccer and I only bought this film because Yuen Biao was in it. 1

Don't go into it expecting a lot of straight-up fights though. There is a few moments of your more usual fighting, but still, probably most of the fighting is mixed into the football.

It's just as confusing to watch with decent subtitles compared to I presume, dubtitles on the screener that I watched a few years ago. I watched the original Miracle Fighters too this evening, but quite surprised the amount of curse words plus one F-word in a PG rated film. Listened to Frank Djeng commentary too, where he mentioned that Yuen woo-ping remade this film in 2017. Called A Thousand Faces of Dunjia. A quick look found said film on YT, but not watched it yet. 2

Bro you got $300 you can lend me? Member Hasimir Fenring Posted Saturday at 02:47 PM Member Share Posted Saturday at 02:47 PM Bought quite a few recently. eBay, Amazon, CEX, Eureka site, 88 site, Severin UK site. Couple of the ones pictured don't count for here. Aside from The Valiant Ones, I think I have all the currently available King Hu films. 7

Never got any of them as I'd collected most of the main releases, but found out later that several titles only got released that way (Heroic Trio films and Peking Opera Blues, for instance - not getting the latter as people are charging £30 for it, and I found a 1080 version on the Internet Archive). Re-purchased a few DVDs too, as I'm pretty sure a lot are hidden away in the loft.

This Texas Chainsaw Massacre release is truly bonkers. As is this... A 175-disc (!!!) box-set of Prisoner. It makes the sound of a jail cell opening and closing when you open the box. And it's a whopping 7 kilos! That's 15.5 lbs for our American members.
