Hi, I'd be grateful if someone could tell me what film this long white haired chap is form. If you watch the above link (Alexi Sayle's Kungfu Masterclass from Kungfu night on BBC2 like 10 years ago) the man in question appears at 3mins 44secs ("I like the act of killing"), and also at 3mins 56sec ("Ha Ha Ha!").

If anyone could tell me that would be super great!

Thanks.

P.S. Conincidently, how many films can you identify from the clips shown???

I'm really not sure. I can only tell you that his name is Norman Chu/Norman Tsui. Looks like it's before 1980 as well. I'll keep looking into it.

As for the other movies, I didn't watch the whole thing, but I recognised Incredible Kung Fu Mission, The Hot the Cool and the Vicous, Eagle's Claw, The Victim and Mysterious Footworks of Kung Fu, I think.

The film in question is none other than Eagles Claw, a rather good indie from Taiwan. The dude is Chang Yi, one of the greatest villains ever in Kung Fu movies. I would recommend the movie, it has some great action and performances from Wong Tao, Chi Kuan Chun and Chang Yi. That show brought it all back extreme nostlagia I stayed up to watch both nights of the BBC2 thing when I was like 15. Movies I can spot are: The Hot, the Cool and the vicious, Eagles Claw, The Victim, Ninja:Final Duel, Incredible Kung Fu Mission and The Dragon, The Hero. Anyone else care to take part? What is the one in the first montage with the sweet round kick and the Lee Yi Min one?

Wow, you are indeed right. For some reason I thought he looked like Norman Tsui there. I should probably see this movie again. Love the intro, and Chi Kuan Chun and Wong Tao are really good in this.

Hey isn't the narrator the Russian landlord from the Young Ones? Damn I loved that show. Hilarious - A kung fu movie without fighting is like a porno without sex.

I remember staying up and watching both days of kung fu goodness too. They should really do something like that again.
