Saw the pics on Zhang. The boyfriend definetly likes her ass to his mouth. and she definetly likes her ass to his mouth as well...

She may have over-rated Kung Fu in her films, however, her Nude Beach Side Kung Fu is Superb.

:D

Yeah those pics are nothing to get excited about, I guess the Chinese media has blown it so far out of proportion, big deal she was topless at a nude - private beach.

XD Damn that's some funny stuff I've read on here for a long time, thank god a few haven't lost their sense of humor on this site.

David Chiang, even though I like him, is definetly overrated.

David Chiang is under rated IMO, he gets loads of stick for his fighting skills but when he has worked with proper choreographers who push him he looks the bollox, The Loot, The Challenger, Shaolin Mantis, tell me he doesn't look fantastic in those movies, and some of his TV work is amazing

I can't get the bloody youtube thingy to work properly! Damn you IT, damn you to hell!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with Bruce Lee is that his career shined so briefly and brightly it's difficult to evaluate in an objective manner versus those of his peers. (kinda like James Dean or Heath Ledger) Imagine if Jackie Chan had died weeks before Police Story had premiered, versus lingering around to work on stinkers like The Medallion (and most of his Hollywood output).

Oh, and if we're talking most overrated martial arts *actor*, then definitely Donnie Yen. He doesn't really act, does he?

With Bruce Lee, it starts with what he was doing prior to his second career as a film star. With the devotion to fighting he displayed, and the driven ethic, I could hardly consider his later success over-rated. He was like a falling star, that left quite the glare of light in the sky, long after passing.

No not over-rated, but a career incomplete-unless you'd like to overall include his child-career work as well, and he wasn't too shabby there either. He certainly had, it!

Bruce was like Steven Seagal..more films was made, more invincible he appeared.

I agree.... it would probably be a another string of one man shows, till people got bored and moved on!

More like the other way around... Athough I've always felt Lee would have made one helluva villian.

As Winslow Wong Bruce was awesome in Marlowe. A snappy dresser also.

it`s not that I would not respect bruces abilities as martial artist..dude was faster than lighting and looked very strong. His screen precence not bad either when he tasted own blood had feeling all hell is loose soon...if they had not made bruce too undefeatable...I guess most in this forum love good fights but in my opinion only final of big boss delivers....

Oh , I think Bruces films would've been popular way into the 80s ;)

Besides he wanted to do other roles and also more directing.....the fans would prolly not approve so much if he only did directing ;)

I wish he'd use Polanski as a punching bag though :/

I know people go on about how Bruce was over-rated, but I don't think you can deny that he had an undeniable onscreen presence.

In fact, I find it pointless to even talk about him as over-rated.

He made a handful of pretty damn good martial arts films then died, leaving a legacy behind.

The fact of the matter is Lee was light years ahead of anyone else when his films first came out so he was an astonishment and a revelation to the audience. He set the bar high, in the years after his death other people have reached his level and some have surpassed it just like in most other fields which is only natural. Lee will always hold a special place in my heart though for having that special charisma and being the best of his era.

God Damned Jet Li!!...:l

Now that sucker is over-rated!

Too damned little to be thought of as defeating all these huge Qwielos they always pit him against. Less fantasy, more realism!!

I agree with the The Dragon in the last post. The mainland is chock full of skilled wushu performers, Jet Li just got on that train at the right time with Shaolin Temple.

I would say his handwork is a little more directed and more powerful than his contemporaries who did the same sport, but then Vincent Zhao came out! Forget Jet Li.

As far as I can tell, he also never choreographed his own work, which is something all the greats have done.

there was no action choreographer for kids from shaolin and shaolin temple so that was all jet! i think he shared choreographing duty on dragon fight too if you haven't seen that film your missing a lot

After reading Dragon's posts i'm thinking Bruce Lee's fans are bunch of egoists,as they say there's only one man - Bruce Lee.

:l

Not at all. I just remember watching a lot of Jet's films and half the time he never performs the authentic forms of the historical characters he's playing;Wong Fei-Hung, Hung Hei-Kwun, Fong Sai-Yuk, and Fok Yuen- Gap... None of those roles had him displaying the authentic styles those masters were renowned for. AND no one has held him accountable for not trying.

Yeah he moves well and is a forms specialist-but let's see him perform actual Hung Gar, or any of the styles attributed to the masters.

At least Donnie went out and learned actual Wing Chun forms for his role in Ip Man!

Take that, Jet Lovers!:nerd:

I feel you on that Dragon. I do wish I could've seen Jet performing Hung Gar in those films. But you really should check out DRAGON FIGHT. He plays a character much like himself- similar training and background, who gets into trouble in the US and mixed up with drug dealers and such. So he fights more like I would think Jet really would in a real-life situation. It's kinda B-movie, but there's a ton of action, Stephen Chow in a good dramatic role, and some "Oh shit that must have hurt" full impact blows in the fights. Great little flick, and wire free!

I feel you KFB. However, I base my thoughts of Jet being over-rated on his period films. They've been very successful, but nary authentic. Got to hold him down on that crap. I know in Dragon Fight it's more of a contemporary thing, however, an Uzi don't look good in an old fashioned Western, amongst Smiths and Wesson's right?
