Member vonhumboldtfleisher Posted April 3, 2008 Member Share Posted April 3, 2008 I meant you don't know what you're talking about in re: CHINESE BOXER. I honestly didn't mean it as a personal dig. Seriously, you should see it.
Member The Amazing Psycho Per Posted April 3, 2008 Member Share Posted April 3, 2008 Maybe I will, but I usually don't dig old chop sockys... To me good kung fu movies started in approx. 1976 . Before that the choreo. is, well I don't know how to say in english, but let's say inintricate... Is that a word? To me Shaws kung fu started to be good when Lau Kar Leung started directing and when the Venoms came in to play. Not to forget Tang Chia's work around the same time. Member Sifu Posted April 4, 2008 Member Share Posted April 4, 2008 Bruce thrusts his fingers into The Boss' chest at the end of The Big Boss. The uncut version. I thought the original uncut version was needlessly bloody. It was just untasteful, things were a little more grounded in Fist of Fury.
