Member spannick Posted March 6, 2008 Member Share Posted March 6, 2008 Golden Cinema City Films Distribution Catalogue includes: Magnum Films Golden Princess Always Good Film and some which i have to decode before i post all the Info (luckily i have all of them on LD or VHS, so the Logos should all be easy to identify): FM, GE, LY, ME. Magnum Films are not all Movies though, only until Cinema City got closed.
Guest Markgway
I think it would be better to list only the Cinema City productions rather than also their distributions. Could get confusing otherwise. Like D&B distributed a lot of films they didn't produce. Cinema City shot a few movies in Taiwan but they would still be classed as a HK productions because of the origin of the company. Member dbmaster514 Posted March 7, 2008 Author Member Share Posted March 7, 2008 Yeah, I think so also, I thought it was only a few additional movies but since it is other studios film catalogs then I'll just stick to the Cinema City productions only. Member spannick Posted March 7, 2008 Member Share Posted March 7, 2008 right on. but you won't ever list the other Production Companies in a single listing i guess. most of them are closely tied and - and ever will be - to Cinema City (except Magnum Films)
Member dbmaster514 Posted March 7, 2008 Author Member Share Posted March 7, 2008 I have been working on filmographies on two of those, I might post them later on. I haven't looked at always good film, but the others I should have most of their films listed already. Magnum Films Golden Princess

Member YnEoS Posted October 9, 2012 Member Share Posted October 9, 2012 I've recently become interested in studying Cinema City's entire output, and I was wondering if there is any good writing in English on the company. So far apart from the occasional small mention in a book or doc, the only writing I've found is from sections of 2 interviews on HK Cinemagic.
