wrong. 2 Movie Streams. shorter one has only German Audio and own Credits, and cuts.

I think so, its a mainland china film so the fighting choreography his heavily modern wushu influenced... but has the advance of way better film locations compared to hongkongs studios

Deadly Strike yep it should be 2:35:1 ,seems hard to come across in that ratio.. Yep it's got the Nunchaku scene.

I guess I am going to have to give Ho Chung Tao another shot. My personal experience was that I was always kind of bored and desperate when I went to his movies back in the 70's. Also, I had read somewhere that he was a gymnast, and that kind of made me think he had no martial arts experience. I realize now he didn't start out to be a Bruce Lee Clone, and probably wasn't very happy about it- he looks fairly depressed in his interview on youtube. Poor guy. Hopefully he has been told and made aware that he has his own international fan base.

Having watched the two new Bruce Li releases, the news is a little mixed. With Deadly Strike i think they've used the old slight widescreened print, cleaned it up a little, made it anamorphic and inserted the cut nunchaku fight from another source. So obviously this is the best version available now but far from ideal,this is a scope movie. Iron Dragon Strikes Back is in it's proper 2:35:1 scope ratio ,seems uncut and is a reasonable print,if a little dark. Again the best version of this movie released. There's no way these should be commanding premium prices though, for what they are.

The nunchaku scene was not the only edit made to the U.K print, they cut some other stuff out too, including some violence from the finale.

It includes TIGER ON THE BEAT 2 as a bonus film, but unfortunately TOTB2 is not English friendly (no subs or dub).

Picked up the cheap German release of The Dragon Lives, looks quite good anamorphic, english dub. However i strongly suspect this release could well be a port of Kuenfist's custom from a while back.

The old US DVD was non-anamorphic 1.85:1 but this was done by squishing the 4:3 tape master into fake widescreen. VCI did the same on their DVD of the same company's (Herman Cohen's Cobra Media) CROCCODILE, but managed to get a 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer of STEEL FISTED DRAGON.

I've always wondered why Bruce Li has a moustache in the FIST OF FURY scenes.

it's pretty much 2.35.1 except for some inserts ,which are the same as kuenfists inserts. when i get a chance i'll post some caps.
