hi---does anyone know if there is an uncut widescreen english dubbed version of FATAL NEEDLES VS FATAL FIST ? i have two cut fullscreen versions and one is pretty crappy-- this is a pretty good movie so i hope someone some where has cleaned it up and done a proper release. i was thinking the german's seem to put the effort in. anything ? some word ? thanks

Just remember, the MVL Shaw Brothers blu-rays have not been officially announced as having English subtitles, so buyers beware.

It certainly would appear at the moment that SHAOLIN TEMPLE will NOT come with English subs/English dub.

I'll be keeping my eye on this, though and update if neccesary.

Just found out about this - IRON MONKEY (1977) - PAL Region 2 German DVD - released by Ascot Elite on 10/14/2014 - German and English Languages - 16:9 Anamorphic Widescreen.

Anyone have this disc?

Thanks for that. I've wanted to rid myself of my dirty little Panmedia version of "The Buddha Assassinator" for quite some time now and was hoping to pick up the German release.

Unfortunately, it's $33 before shipping and handling and I'm not sure I want to shell out that much.

iron monkey 1977 german edition ascot elite as alot better picture quality than vengeance releasee. Similar quality to buddha killer. Hower i assume they used a cut german print and they have added a few parts in to make it uncut. The version is in english dub. and the few parts they have added in have english subtiltes in poorer picture condition. but on whole an excellent release. Prefer this by a mile to that wire fu iron monkey staring donnie yen. . wires have spoilt alot of films for me.

Thanks @saltysam, hoped that it may have been a the original theatrical international cut, not that there's anything wrong with inserts. Great to see people taking the time to restore these films.

Odd how the heavily cut U.K theatrical print, has become so common for this title. Many of Ho Chung Tao other movies are far easier to pick without the old 70's U.K censor cuts.
