The German studio Mediacs is putting out 3 volumes of Shaw Brothers on mediabook all with original language and the majority of the titles with English subtitles and limited to 500 copies.

Shamrock asked me to open his German HD Trailer for DREAMING THE REALTY to public viewing and this means: a release is planned. on FB he wrote "English options will be available"

Nice covers. I wonder what there is in the booklets, and if they are different from one boxset to the other. Some of the Inked Pictures Mediabooks had different booklets, and suddenly, they became all the same whatever the title of the movie inside... That was frustrating and annoying. I also wonder if they'll put discs with art on them, or if these will be the same Black Hill discs as the other German releases by Koch Media or Inked Pictures.

Looks to be the same. Remember how Koch's Human Lanterns did not come with English subs, just like in this mediabook release.

I went ahead and cancelled my order with retrogold63 since the exclusive covers were already sold out & went ahead and ordered the standard covers with wicked shop since they offer cheaper shipping to the US. Saved about $20 using Deutsche Post instead of DHL.

for those that ordered at retrogold63 and are USA based, did yall get any shipping options?  All of the orders I placed only gave me one option for shipping.  For a single mediabook, shipping was 11 dollars for me, for 3 mediabooks (the recent preorders) shipping bumped up to 22 dollars.

I was just curious if everyone else had similar prices or had the option of choosing a different shipping option.

Also, does anyone have estimate delivery times for the US?  I can't find info on their site.  

My test order of Beowulf was placed on 2/3 and I think it shipped out on 2/5 so I'm trying to gauge their delivery time.

beautiful artwork but without going to shelf german titles remind me those are all released so no meat on the bone.would buy posters though or booklet.is that wang lung wei in new shaolin boxers at vol 2?that i don't have as br

yep that's Johnny Wang Lung Fei with the Mr Han ETD claw hand. That movie also has to be one of the few good guy roles for Shan Mao. He usually plays an evil Japanese or some gangster thug henchman. If you don't have the blu ray for that one, you should just pick up the Koch blu ray as it's still in print and reasonably priced.

I have ivl.i like movie action between shan mao and wang lung fei is terrific.should upgrade to br

Regarding the Hapkido release: I believe that it's a cost-issue. I've read some messages from the Shamrock chef in one of the german forums, and if I remember this correctly, they will stop releasing Mediabooks too. But it's pretty certain that Retrogold will release Repacks, so MBs will still be available, only in less quantities.

CMV Laservision is releasing Abel Ferrara's China Girl on mediabook on April 25. English friendly of course and will include blu ray + dvd and come in two cover versions with a booklet. I remember watching this movie a long time ago and it was okay. A Westside Story meets Romeo and Juliet set among the turf wars between Italian and Chinese gangs in NYC.

Nameless Media is releasing Millionaire's Express on 2K remastered blu ray in June. Will have the HK, International, German and Hybrid cuts of the movie. English friendly.

This was announced back in 2022 but finally Edge of Fury blu ray has a release date of December 6. Up for pre-order at Amazon.de and is listed as having the English dub,
