Member gravedigger666 Posted March 3, 2008 Member Share Posted March 3, 2008 think about "When The Last Sword Is Drawn"?Guy who is selling to for me says it`s absolutely flawless, many bloody fights, intrigue, surprises blah blah...and he has RARELY lied, however lenghty running time makes me suspect there is too much of blah blahing...Should I push purchase button or not? Member GwaiLoMoFo Posted March 3, 2008 Member Share Posted March 3, 2008 I personally think this might be the best Samurai film made in quite a while. I thought it was better than "Ronin Gai" and the highly touted "Hidden Blade" and "Twilight Samurai". It deffinitley has alot more action than those films. Id deffinitly buy, but look for an import version which has better audio and video. I remember the soundtrack on this one was impressive, and needs to be heard in booming surround sound (not 2.0 stereo).

Member Tosh Posted March 4, 2008 Member Share Posted March 4, 2008 When The Last Sword Is Drawn is a great movie, it has all the ingredients that make a great Samurai movie, great acting, violence, emotion, suspense, however it could of been trimmed up around 15 minutes, the end drags out a bit but it was such a deep movie I didn't mind so much.
