Two from the same director are QUEEN HUSTLER and GAMBLING SYNDICATE both 1975. Sadly, neither came out but are listed on dvds as *available from Celestial pictures. I have a poster of the former and a lobby set of the latter. HEROES OF THE UNDERGROUND (1976) is similar to Chang Cheh's ANONYMOUS HEROES (1971), a movie that shares similarities with Italian Revolutionary westerns such as the works from the great Sergio Corbucci. Then there's the SAVAGE FIVE of course. THE FUGITIVE I think was the best of the western style films I've seen from Shaw's.

Boxer From The Temple......BASHER??

I don't agree on Shaolin Handlock, Shaolin Temple or Heroes Two either. But perhaps we all have our own definiton of what Basher style is?!

Yes, I would probably not call Heroes Two, Blood Brothers, Shaolin Temple, Shaolin Handlock or Boxer from the Temple bashers. Heroes Two especially, IMO, was one of the first ones that really got into some longer exchanges and specific styles. Although I see what you mean, shukocarl, as it was kind of a transition movie.

Also, Kung Fu Bob, I'm not sure about Asia-Pol. I actually haven't seen it, but I recently watched Summons to Death, another late 60s action-adventure movie. Some of the hand-to-hand fights were kind of basher-like, but I don't know if I'd include those 60s ones--- hard to say......yes, I guess it all depends on one's definition.

Right on man. Yeah, personally I would definitely NOT include HEROES TWO. You're right on ASIA-POL. I took a quick peek. I've removed that from my list.
